MCC U.S. works to educate constituent and non-constituent groups about important immigration issues by coordinating educational and resource events, providing up to date information and resource materials on immigration issues, assisting constituent and non-constituents interested in developing an immigration program, and working with the MCC U.S. Washington Office to promote immigration advocacy.
Come learn about Development and Alternatives to Migration through visiting MCC’s work and partners in Guatemala. The Learning Tour will also focus on food security, deportation issues, human trafficking, and Guatemalan culture and community.
People on the Move - The Human Face of Migration
Beginning in July 2013, a new MCC exhibit on migration will be available for Churches, schools, conferences, relief sales and other events. Consisting of 12 easy-to-roll-out panels, the exhibit tells the stories of several migrants as they traveled from one place to another. The content and images are meant to bring out the human stories of migration, raise awareness about why people leave their homes, and encourage further learning and advocacy.
